School started again.  It stinks.

Last night we saw the Station Agent, which was a movie that I felt really confused about.  It didn't really have a clear-cut plot, point, or an ending.  This didn't make it bad, but sometimes I wonder if being different for the sake of being different is enough to make a movie likeable.  I read some reviews that said that the movie was "wonderfully different" because it didn't things like a plot or ending.  One one hand, I like variety, but can't you also say that this type of movie is like someone coming up to you and saying something pointless and then you congratulating him on saying it?  Obviously the movie wasn't pointless, but that's the main conflict I've got about it.

Really tired this morning as I woke up and got ready to head to the airport.  Breakfast was doughnuts from two different Bay area doughnuts shops.

Weather was rainy.  At the airport, Thomas went to Pittsburgh, I went to Glendale.  When I got on the plane, I sat next to an older white dude who asked me what I did for a living.  Turns out he knew a lot about law school....too much actually.  I finally asked him if he was a lawyer (he was).  Burned out criminal defense lawyer (public defender).   What was interesting was that I found out that this white guy had visited more countries in Asia than I had, including mainland China and Taiwan.  How sad is that?   He also knew quite a bit about Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles.  I practically felt ashamed.

The flight was really turbulent.  When we landed, it was pouring.  For lunch, we had In n Out, and my dad told me that the Glendale police had arrested an assistant manager there for selling drugs in the parking lot.  Glendale is great.

Came home, and got readjusted to home.   I had a great time up north.  There's something so great about doing things on your own.

School starts tomorrow. I made a list of things I have to do and I'm already pissed about it.
